Permanently remove your PixioDoc account and all associated data
Introduction
Deleting your PixioDoc account is a permanent action that will remove all your account information and associated medical data from our systems. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
Important: After initiating account deletion, your data will enter a 30-day grace period during which it can still be recovered by contacting support. After this period, all data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Before You Delete
We strongly recommend exporting your data before proceeding:
Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your information stored in PixioDoc. Exporting your data ensures you retain copies of important medical records.
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:
- Your account and profile information
- All patient records you created
- All medical images and videos
- All treatment logs and notes
- All shared access (collaborators will lose access to your patients)
- Activity logs
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps to permanently delete your PixioDoc account:
- Open the PixioDoc mobile app
- Navigate to the Profile tab (bottom navigation)
- Scroll down to "Privacy & Security" section
- Tap "Delete Account"
- You will be asked to enter your password to confirm
- Review the deletion warning and data export option
- Confirm deletion
What Happens Next
- Immediate effects: Your account access will be revoked and you will be logged out of all devices
- 30-day grace period: Your data will be soft-deleted but can still be recovered if you contact support within this period
- After 30 days: All your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems
- Email confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address
Data Export Option
Before deleting your account, you can export all your data. This includes:
- Patient records and metadata
- All medical images and videos
- Treatment logs and notes
- Activity history
Your exported data will be delivered as a ZIP file containing all your information in a structured format. We recommend downloading and securely storing this file before proceeding with account deletion.
